dialogue around the scientific facts concerning global warming, climate change
and more.

International Polar Year
The International Polar Year is a large scientific programme focused on the
Arctic and the Antarctic from March 2007 to  2009.  IIPY, organized through the
International Council for Science (ICSU) and the World Meteorological
Organization (WMO), is actually the fourth polar year, following those in 1882-3,
1932-3, and 1957-8. In order to have full and equal coverage of both the Arctic
and the Antarctic, IPY 2007-8 covers two full annual cycles from March 2007 to
March 2009 and will involve over 200 projects, with thousands of scientists from
over 60 nations examining a wide range of physical, biological and social
research topics. It is also an unprecedented opportunity to demonstrate, follow,
and get involved with, cutting edge science in real-time.

Evironmental Protection Agency Kids Site
The EPA Climate Change site provides comprehensive information on the issue
of climate change and global warming in a way that is accessible and
meaningful.

Nature Conservancy
The Nature Conservancy is joining with policy makers, community members,
businesses, scientists, industry leaders and others to slow the pace of climate
change. We work to reduce the accumulation of heat-trapping gases in the
atmosphere and help natural areas adjust to the impacts of climate change.

The Exploratorium Global Climate Change
Research Explorer allows visitors to explorer scientific data from many fields
(physics, chemistry, biology, meteorology).

World Health Organization
WHO is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United
Nations system. It is responsible for providing leadership on global health
matters, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards,
articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to
countries and monitoring and assessing health trends
